Just returned from my Dream Vacation, Italy, and now preparing to return to work next week. Italy was honestly amazing [Italy page up soon]. It has filled me with inspiration on of course art but also folklore research, gardening, cooking, family life-so many things I want to know more about, so many things I want to implement into my life. But I must keep my head about me and realize one thing at a time. Over the last two days I’ve planted my fall cooking garden and am now cleaning out the house for a huge garage sale in a few weeks. Simplify, simplify, simplify. Tomorrow starts the final preparations for the start of school on the 15th. I am really looking forward to the fall quarter. It’s my first time teaching during this time of year…and I have a lot of new ideas on how to approach a few of the courses projects-hopefully resulting in the students enjoying the projects a bit more and for those that struggle with graphic software, understand them more easily. All for now, till later then {:0)
Yeppers, married! Tom Davis and I were married June 09th, 2008 in Cancun Mexico. It was the most wonderful trip of my life, thus far. Tom and I had such a relaxing, romantic, easy, 10 day trip in Mexico -it was difficult to come home and leave it all. Once we returned we had two fantastic wedding parties. One in FL with our families and their friends and the other in SAV for our friends. Galleries to be posted soon. So, we’ve quickly settled in as husband and wife and are now planning our future together-starting with a dream come true trip to Italy!
Ok, so finally found a template I’m happy with.
I’ve been searching online for about a month to find a template I could personalize and add my own personal aesthetics. I’ve downloaded about 10 templates and have altered 5 I think. None of which I have been very happy with. But today I found this template, nice and simple, the same color scheme I’ve been working with and it can be easily customized if I should wish to change anything in the future. As of right now, I’m just enlarging the top graphic in the header, adding my own site title along with part of my logo-and changing the menu just ever so slightly.
Just an FYI, at this time, comments will only be available on the Home page.
